- [Instructor] Our next chapter is about wrangling data in Jamovi, and if you're not familiar with it you may wonder what I mean when I saw wrangling, because I'm not talking about this kind of wrangling out on the range, instead I'm talking about this kind of wrangling where you're taking data that's in a mess, it's in a jumble and you're organizing it, and you're getting it so you can analyze it. It goes by a few other names as well. Sometimes it's called data munging, sometimes it's called data scrubbing. It can also be called data cleaning, or really it just refers to the general process of preparing your data for analysis. This is really the nitty gritty of data. It's the part that's not so glamorous, but absolutely critical to the success of a project it also tends to be the most time-consuming part.
