How a spring-based cloth solver works

- [Narrator] If you want to become the best pilot in the world, you better know what car you're driving. If you really don't know what engine is under the hood, you will really not know if you will be able to compete. So now that we've seen how dynamics are working and how dynamics can be applied and how we can create a dynamic world in computer graphics with polygons, we're going to go a bit further and look in detail at exactly how surfaces are deformed and interpreted in the cloth dynamic solvers, because as we've seen, nCloth dynamics is not like a particle system and it does have to understand the shape of object and deform it in an interesting way. So let's explore. So in a cloth dynamic solver, we know that we have polygons and we know that all the vertices have a mass and can have forces applied.
